The Brooklyn Nets (finally) kicked Steve Nash out of the locker room. Who Says Firing Is Recruiting: Former Boston Celtics Coach To The Rescue?
How about the savior of this weird Nets team? Ime Udoka will be the main name on Brooklyn’s board to replace Nash. We announced a few weeks ago that the Canadiens coach’s days were numbered if the start of the season didn’t match the stature of the Nets staff ( Sport.FR is solid). The arrival of the former Boston coach should not be delayed according to ESPN (we are talking about a confirmation in the next 24 hours). The only thing that still leaves room for doubt is the recent scandal involving Udoka in a private relationship with a female Celtic employee.
The perfect trainer for the Brooklyn Divas?
At the sporting level, Ime Udoka is a great solution to avoid shipwreck. The Nets will be getting a coach who already worked with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in a Team USA jersey, who sweated defense last year with Boston and has the ability to handle the egos of the team’s stars. Nothing is official at this point, but Joe Tsai (owner of the franchise) and Durant (who called for Nash’s departure this summer) will make Brooklyn fans laugh and cringe because of the start of this season. With a signing, Durant and Irving no longer have an excuse to justify losing.
