Registration is still open for those who want to take part in the famous Vredestein 20 km race in Paris, which starts on October 9 for its 44th edition.
A great back-to-school race about space, the Vredestein 20km in Paris will take place this year on Sunday, October 9. And several solutions are proposed: for those who want to run this 20 km face to face and those who cannot attend.
Two training methods
Indeed, since the health crisis, remote participation has been introduced. From now on, it will be possible to maintain 2 training methods: the “historical” face-to-face version and the connected version allowing runners from all over the world who cannot come under the Eiffel Tower to share the Vredestein 20km. de Paris Experience” .
Vredestein will also organize three connected races of 5km, 10km and 15km for all registrants as part of the physical preparation for the 20km de Paris. A non-mandatory “appendix” allows runners to set themselves “intermediate and progressive goals”.
As for the course, it remains unchanged. For a scheduled arrival at the foot of the Eiffel Tower (7th), the start will be given at the Pont d’Aina below the Trocadero (16th). Meanwhile, the runners will head in the direction of the Arc de Triomphe, making a loop on the Bois de Boulogne, before finding themselves at the quays of the Seine, right bank and then left bank.
“The most beautiful classic race with historical monuments in Paris”, “20 orchestras along the course”, “waves for ideal fluidity” and “mythical arrival at the foot of the Eiffel Tower” are praised by the organizers. “.
